SB Raatti – Ulma 1 – 2

SB Raatti sai seurahistorian sadannessa virallisessa ottelussaan vastaansa tuttuakin tutumman Ulmalan nuorisoseuran Iisalmesta. Joukkueiden keskinäiset tilastot olivat tähän juhlaotteluun mennessä hyvinkin merkilliset. Vuosia sitten molempien pelatessa 5-divisioonaa, SB Raatti murskasi Ulman 12-0, jonka jälkeen nilsiäläiset eivät ole pystyneet voittoa rutistamaan lukuisista kohtaamisista huolimatta.

Ulma aloittikin siitä, mihin edellisinä vuosina on totuttu. Se puolusti kurinalaisesti ja iski terävästi vastaan. Ensimmäinen pölähdys Raatin verkossa tapahtuikin ajassa 6.27. Raatin peli oli luvattoman löysää eikä varsinkaan puolustuspäässä tehty sovittuja asioita kunnolla. Niinpä Ulman hyökkääjät saivat liian paljon tilaa.

Toiseen erään Raatti hivenen ryhdistäytyi ja alkoi luoda tilanteita vastustajan maalille, mutta maalivahti oli loistavalla pelipäällä ottaen useita käsittämättömiä koppeja, milloin sormenpäällä ja välillä jopa kantapäällä. Osassa tilanteista taisi olla tuuriakin mukana, mutta sitähän hyvä maalivahti tunnetusti tarvitsee. Sen verran purjeessa Ulma välillä oli, että erän puolessa välissä Raatille vihellettiin rankkari, jota laukomaan asettui Jani Riekkinen. Hän tarjosikin veräjän vartijalle kahvilippua läheiseen kuppilaan ja pisti pallon maaliin. Tuomari kuitenkin hylkäsi maalin, koska pallo oli liikkunut taaksepäin.

Kolmanteen erään lähdettiin edelleen Ulman johtaessa 1-0. Peli jatkuikin samanlaisena. Hyökkäyspäässä Raatti painosti, mutta puolustuspää pelattiin ihmeellisen löysästi, kun pallo silloin tällöin siellä viivähti. Kun maalia ei alkanut huippupaikoista huolimatta syntyä, otti Raatti aikalisän noin viisi minuuttia ennen loppua. Pari minuuttia aikalisästä puolustajan paikalla pirteästi esiintynyt Miikka Hanski lähetti puolen kentän tuntumasta vihaisen kudin kohti maalia, joka ilmeisesti kimpoili Arto Taskisen mailasta sisään tasoittaen pelin 1-1:een. Aivan ottelun loppuhetkillä Ulma sai vaparin hyvin erikoisesta tilanteesta Raatin päädystä. Mikko Turunen pelasi kulmatilanteen totuttuun tapaan täysillä ja ehti palloon ensimmäisenä. Vastustajan heppoinen kaveri pyrki kuitenkin pelaamaan hänet vielä irti pallosta taklaamalla kylkeen lentäen kuitenkin itse kentän pintaan. Tästä tulleen vaparin seurauksena Ulma otti vielä aikalisän ja juoni kuviot kuntoon. Raatti pelasikin tilanteen löysästi ja omissa helähti, kun ottelua oli pelaamatta enää 7 sekuntia. Näin Ulma vei Raatin kannalta spektaakkelimaisen väännön lukemin 1-2.

-Pelaaminen oli läpi ottelun ihmeellisen löysää ja halutonta varsinkin puolustuspäässä. Kun puolustuspää pelataan löysästi, ei hyökkäyspäässäkään varmasti olla täysin hereillä ja se näkyikin heikkona viimeistelynä, vaikka paine oli lähes läpi koko pelin kaverin maalilla. Nämä helpot pelit on niitä, joissa täytyy olla heti hereillä ja ottaa pisteet pois eikä tehdä itselle hallaa pelaamalla löysästi. Jos pelataan niin kuin nyt pelattiin, niin nämäkin pelit muuttuvat yhtäkkiä todella vaikeiksi kuten nähtiin, ruoti valmennuksesta Markku Turunen.

XXL-Kriisi – SB Raatti 2 – 5

Päivän toisessa ottelussaan nilsiäläisjoukkio sai kilpakumppanikseen kentän toiselle puoliskolle XXL – Kriisin Kuopiosta. Vastustaja oli jotakuinkin tuttu viime kaudelta ja tiedettiin vaaralliseksi viimeistelijäksi. Pienellä rosterilla liikkeellä ollut Raatti tiedosti kuitenkin, että omalla vauhdikkaalla pelaamisellaan tulisivat olemaan vahvoilla. Raatin pelatessa kahdella hyökkäyskentällisellä ja käytännössä kahdella puolustajalla, peli oli ajoittain melko avonaista, tosin molempiin suuntiin. Ensimmäisenä maalipaikan käytti hyväkseen Kriisi noin 10 minuutin kohdalla. Raatti ei kuitenkaan antanut maalin häiritä vaan pölisytti vastustajan verkkoja kahteen kertaan seuraavan parin minuutin kuluessa. Ensimmäisen päräytti häkkiin Panu Hartikainen, Kimmo Korkalaisen tarjoillessa. Toisesta maalista vastasi edellisen syöttäjä, tällä kertaa syötön merkkauttaessa tililleen Vesa Jääskeläinen. Ensimmäiselle erätauolle siirryttiin siis Raatin johtaessa 1-2.

Toinen erä oli molemmin puolin tarkkaa ja huolellista pelaamista ja molemmat joukkueet jäivätkin maaleitta. Aivan toisen erän lopussa Panu Hartikaiselta lyötiin maalinedustilanteessa silmäkulma auki ja hän joutui naama veressä jättämään kentän. Tämä asetti myös Raatin hyökkääjät yhä kovemman kuormituksen alle. Nyt käytössä oli enää viisi hyökkääjää sekä kaksi puolustajaa, lisäksi enemmän huoltajan roolissa nykyisin toimiva Kalevi Aho kävi aika ajoin huiluuttamassa kahta puolustajaa.

Kolmannen erän muutamien ensimmäisten minuuttien aikana Raatin miehistö kuitenkin näytti, että jalka riittää vähilläkin miehillä. Ensin Jani Riekkinen nosti pallon aivan maalin kattoon Pekka Ahon tarjoiltua varsin mainion syötön puolittaiseen läpiajoon. Parin minuutin kuluttua Arto Taskinen lamaannutti vastustajan pelaajia entisestään lyödessä lukemiksi 1-4 Korkalaisen syötöstä. Samassa ajassa Kriisi turvautui aikalisään. Vajaa viisi minuuttia ennen päätössummeria isot pojat tulivatkin vielä kahden maalin päähän ja viimeisillä minuuteilla ottivat kentälle kuudennen kenttäpelaajan yrittäen lisää kavennusta. Tämä ei kuitenkaan auttanut tällä kertaa, vaan Miikka Hanski pääsi sinetöimään lukemat 2-5:een Taskisen tarjoilusta.

-Varsinkin puolustuspään pelaaminen oli edelleen liian avonaista, mutta onneksi vastustajan viimeistely oli vielä hieman kesäterässään. Hyökkäyspäässä peli pyöri ajoittain varsin mallikkaasti ja paikkoja olisi ollut huomattavasti enempäänkin. Tällä kertaa riitti voittoon ja kauden avauspisteisiin, mutta tekemistä riittää ennen seuraavaa turnausta, kun vastaan tulee mm. ihan eri tason joukkue FBI II, joka johtaa sarjaa puhtaalla ja melko vakuuttavalla pelillä, olivat Turusen kommentit toisen pelin jälkeen.
